Sustainable Bakelite® Resins for Insulation Foams and Molding Compounds

Bakelite Synthetics developed under the EU funded Bio4Products project bio-based resins for a more sustainable future. With lignin as a raw material a partially substitution of phenol in phenolic resins was achieved.

Currently the new bio-based Bakelite® PF resins are available for insulation foam producers and molding compound users.
